Research In Motion (RIM), famous for there blackberry line including the Blackberry Pearl, Curve, Bold, Storm and most recently Storm have been designing and implementing phones for the next generation of communications. What is the next endeavor for R.I.M, is it a better bigger phone? No, it’s a watch!
The Blackberry “inPulse” SmartWatch which has a release date of Mid February, sadly is not a free standing phone, it’s a blue tooth device, an extension for your blackberry.

Ohh yeah it can tell time to!
The company assisting RIM in this production is Allerta a small company that was started to do these specific types of things, early marketing was for a watch that showed your messages on your wrist. These nifty little watches are a geeks best friend, but they look neat to. Takes me back to the one time I had a watch that double ad a memory stick! Sadly it was an analog watch face, which I never did quite figure out, but I digress!
At $150.00 USD the price is steep for a watch or a blackberry accessory, but for a watch that is a blackberry assessor, its right on! The question that comes to mind is, do you really need to read your email on your wrist? I can see drives now looking at the time every 20 sec driving down the interstate just to make sure they didn’t miss there facebook invite!
Well thats all I got for now, I will keep you up to date when I get one!
